Anna Maria Island is Old Florida – we take things a little slower and our beaches are more famous for having flour soft sands than reliable cell phone reception. But that’s why people spend time with us in Anna Maria City – it’s a place to get away from it all. There’s room for the whole family, between six and eight guests, can vacation comfortably at the rental home. There is a king in two of the bedrooms and a set of twins accompanied by a full sized bed in the third. If you can’t get a night of sweet dreams right away, try opening the windows to hear the gulf coast waves lapping against a sea wall right in your backyard. A shady foot path leads straight from your patio to a pristine, private stretch of beach.  The turquoise gulf waters stretch out into infinity right in front of you.

Come sunset, there’s no better place to be than the sundrenched patio in the backyard of your vacation home. Cook up the day’s catch or maybe a more classic spread of burgers, kabobs and franks on the propane grill. There’s plenty of fine dining in Anna Maria Island, like nearby Sign of the Mermaid or The Sandbar Restaurant, but some of the best meals you can have are on paper plates around outdoor table and chairs with the people you love.

But if paper plates aren’t your thing, the kitchen cabinets and drawers are more than stocked with anything you’ll need. The whole vacation home is equipped with amenities to keep you feeling right at home. Wireless internet connection is available should you need to work during your stay and the breakfast nook with glass top table makes a charming makeshift office.

Shoreline Terrace is located at the tip of Anna Maria Island. You’ll be close to some of our historical points of interest such as Rod N Reel Pier and the old City Jail. Anywhere you want to go in Anna Maria can be reached be hopping on the free and air conditioned Island Trolley. Pine Ave is also close by with some of the best local shopping – vintage clothing, regional art, antiques, accessories, and sweets. Whatever your favorite sort of souvenir, you can find it along this sunny street with plenty of local charm.
