"The Sea Gull", our 3 bedroom vacation home is located on the Apalachee Bay in Shell Point, Florida (30 miles south of Tallahassee). This 2080 sq. ft. home is on a quiet, private gated street, with a public beach within walking distance or by electric golf cart (included in the rental). Right out the back door is our boat dock on a deep-water canal with fabulous view. Enjoy the sunsets, pelicans, sea gulls and sailboats that grace the canal. Bring your own boat and use our private floating dock to tie up to. The living quarters feature 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, open concept kitchen, dining and living area, screened porch and sun decks. The living room has a wood burning fireplace for winter rentals and furnished with a large comfortable L-Shape sofa, flat Screen TV, Cable, DVR, Internet and WiFi connected. The dining area has an entertainment bar, with comfortable swivel stools and a dining table, combined seating for 8. This dining area is surrounded by glass windows and doors that open to the 39 ft sun deck where you will find a gas grill and ample seating area. This deck has a beautiful view of the canal and national wildlife refuge. The kitchen is fully equipped and has a second refrigerator in a large storage closet. Kick back on the screened-in porch that opens from this living area by double glassed doors and enjoy our laid back paradise with a glimpse of the Gulf of Mexico. This front porch offers additional dining space and seating. Load up the golf cart with the folding chairs and your cooler and buzz down to Shell Point Beach in mere minutes!
