The Retreat at Lake Dora is in the prestigious neighborhood of Squirrel Point. Just minutes from shopping and dining in downtown Mt. Dora and Tavares. Enjoy the scenic countryside, which consists of horse farms, orange groves, and cow pastures as you journey to the house.

A newly renovated two-story home consisting of 3 large bedrooms and 2 bathrooms nestled in towering live oaks. Enjoy the quiet and secluded atmosphere while you sit on the front porch in the rocking chairs and view beautiful Lake Dora sunsets.

The first floor includes the master bedroom, which is extremely spacious, the living room and pool table area, the dining room, the kitchen, a full- sized bathroom with a jetted tub, the family room with a fireplace and leather pull-out couch, and the laundry room. The second floor has two very spacious guestrooms, a computer desk area, and a full-sized bathroom.

The master bedroom consists of a king bed, a high-def TV and blu-ray DVD player, and an oversized walk-in closet. For those with children, this closet contains a baby changing station, high chair, and a pack-n-play. The living room has a UHD TV, sound bar, and Blu-Ray player. The room also contains a regulation-size pool table with accessories that converts to a ping pong table. Cozy up in the fireplace room and read a book or play some games provided.

The kitchen has butcher block countertops, brand new stainless appliances, a water filtration system, a Keurig for those coffee lovers, and an island with 2 bar stools. The dining room overlooks the back patio. It has seating for 8 and the bistro set on the patio seats 2. The downstairs has a full sized bathroom as well with a combination shower and Jacuzzi tub.

The other two large guestrooms are upstairs and have idential layouts. Both bedrooms have window seat/reading nooks that overlook the lake. The one room has a nautical feel to it and includes one queen bed and two bunk beds and sleeps a total of 6 people comfortably. The other bedroom has two custom made queen beds from a local artisan. There is another high-def TV and Blu-ray DVD player in this room as well. The upstairs bathroom is full-sized with a shower and tub. There is also a computer desk area in the hall for a workspace. The house is equipped with Wi-Fi.

The house sits on an elevated 3/4 acre of land and has a beautiful front yard that overlooks the lake. It is very quiet and serene.

Lake Dora connects to a chain of lakes which is home to many fishing tournaments. There are places to rent boats or jet ski's in the area. There is also the International Golf Club at Deer Island less than 2 miles away. The area is known for it's many antique markets such as Renningers Flea Market and Antiques (15 minutes away) and Trader Mae's (25 minutes away).

For those theme-park goers, Disney is only 40 minutes, Universal is only 35 minutes, and SeaWorld is only 45 minutes.

Those of you who like the sun and sand, both New Smyrna and Daytona beaches are 1 hr 15 min away.
