Lovely 2 Story Lake House

This two story home is located on beautiful Lake Placid, a 3320 acre "Ridge" lake w/sandy shoreline and clear water. Whether you are an indoor or outdoor person, this location will meet your needs. The house is spacious with 3,220 sq. feet with a total of three bedrooms, two and a half baths and an enclosed large back porch. The master bedroom which is located on the first floor is furnished with a king size bed and has french doors which open up to a large porch for a beautiful view of the lake. The master bath has dual marble vanities, whirlpool tub and walk in shower. The second bedroom is located upstairs and is also furnished with a king size bed. The third bedroom would be great if you have grandchildren or other company coming for a visit. It is furnished with a full size bunk bed with a twin size trundle underneath it, so you can easily sleep 5 people in this room.

Love to cook? You will love the solid surface counters, stainless appliances, and pot drawers in the eat-in kitchen overlooking the lake. This house also has a "split system" AC and central vac. Laundry won't be an issue with two washers and one dryer in the home.

If you love the outdoors you will surely enjoy the magnificent views of the lake from the spacious back porch. Here you could relax and read a book, take in the sounds of nature or visit with company. If you want to be even closer to the water, take a stroll down the 300 foot long dock to the boathouse where you can enjoy a picnic table or lounge in one of the three swings, 2 hammocks or two hammock chairs. If you like to actually be on the water, there is even space for you to store your boat and two jet skis.

This is a family vacation home, so it is not furnished with all the amenities that you would find in your home. We are willing to accommodate you with reasonable requested items. The garage is being used for storage and will not be available for use during your stay. Currently there is no cable or internet available, but they can be provided for a long-term stay upon request. Also, if you need to extend you stay, contact the manager directly to let them know the extra dates you need. We may be able to work with you. If we can, we will open the dates up on the calendar for you.

The house is centrally located and is only 10 minutes (5 miles) from the center of Lake Placid and 30 minutes (21 miles) from Sebring. We are 2 hours from both Disney and Tampa. You can check out the website for Lake Placid Chamber of Commerce at http://www.lpfla.com/ .
