Location, Location Location!....The house is located in a safe, quiet, friendly neighborhood and within walking distance of many restaurants, stores and shops. Take a stroll or hop on the 'beach cruiser' bikes and go west 1.5 miles to historic downtown Stuart or 3 miles east to beautiful Martin County beaches. At the end of the day, relax on the covered patio with a cool drink or take a nap in one of the cozy hammocks in the private tropically landscaped backyard under the former orchid house (also known as the Hammock Hut). Enjoy a good night's sleep on very comfortable mattresses with quality linens. Bedroom one has a King size bed with memory foam mattress & second bedroom has a queen size bed with pillow top mattress. The house has been updated with all new appliances, tastefully decorated and very well equipped for making it your 'home away from home'. Pet and people friendly, the house has 2 outdoor living areas: a covered side patio just outside the kitchen and the Hammock Hut in the tropically landscaped backyard with 2 cozy hammocks. Feel free to use the 4 beach towels, 2 beach chairs and 2 bicycles provided for you. If more bikes are requested, please ask. The neighborhood is great for sidewalk strolls or bike rides to see mature tropical foliage and quaint houses in the area. Live like a local in this mid century charming home with all the modern day conveniences located in the middle of Stuart.
The unique downtown area of Stuart, nicknamed the 'Sailfish Capitol of the World', is 1.5 miles by walking, bike or car and offers a myriad of shops, restaurants, festivals, Theater, green market, outdoor concerts etc. all along the waterway. In Martin County you will find beautiful beaches, fishing, cultural activities, historical sights, museums, dining, biking trails, loads of outdoor activities all within a short distance. Come discover and explore one of the Treasure Coast's best kept secrets.
If you enjoy swimming or lounging by the pool the YMCA of the Treasure Coast is 1.5 miles from the house by car or 1 mile by walking or biking through the neighborhood. The pool is heated to 84 degrees and offers, leisure swim, lap swim and water fitness classes for a daily or weekly fee.
