Loved it
Stayed at this property Aug 11-18 and had a fantastic time. Like others have been saying, this home has everything you need and then some. Coming from New England, we anticipated the heat and humidity, but sitting in the back of the house reading or just gazing at the ocean was simply breathtaking! There was 5 of us: Husband and I, 16yr old son and our daughter and her boyfriend. So we all pretty much had our own bathrooms. One day we rented a double kayak and 3 paddle boards, that was HOT, but fun!! Two evenings we did sunset/snorkling cruise out of Robbies (great place!) And on another day we rented jet ski's and kayaked through mangroves ( all through Robbies as well)so much fun!! Another day we drove to Key West and visited the Mel Fisher museum Atocha, then had lunch and cocktails at Sloppy Joes on Duval Street. In Key West, it felt so much hotter than at the house so we didn't last long there at all. The drive there and back though is just beautiful! It was really nice to go back to this awesome house and relax... We did our shopping at Winn Dixie in Tavernier, and had beakfast every day at the house, lunch and dinner we ate out mostly. Lots of Iguana everywhere, enjoyed this even sitting in the lounge chair by the water reading and relaxing! When not busy doing water sports, the boys occupied themselves trying to open coconuts, that took some time, haha! All in all, we had a wonderful time staying here. I am a neat freak so everywhere we go on vacation I get nervous, but this place meets my standards by far! Just a couple of weeks after we left, hurricane Irma hit the Keys. This must have been devastating. I truly hope this house survived with minimal damage. Would love to know how it held up.... I hate to think of all the damage to the homes and businesses...very sad.

Amazing Views ForEver
Really wanted to do 4.5 stars but did not see a way. Only wished we had known ahead of time that swimming right off the property was not ideal. We had an amazing 10 days at this property. It is a convenient location to get where ever you want to go, and the house has everything you may need. Only about an hour and a half from Key West and or Miami-depending on traffic of course as there is only single lane road. If we had to do it again, we would rent kayaks for the time there so we could easily access the clear blue water that is offshore a bit. Still shallow way out. Close to shore, its fairly muddy bottom, and Oh! also a resident croc likes to sleep on the cement dock next door. So, a kayak is good to have. The view is simply amazing. Nothing else to say on that! House is comfy with lots of outdoor furniture for lounging. Skip Anne's "Beach" and head to Sombrero Beach(no fee) or Bahia Honda(fee) if you want to sit and swim. We snorkeled with Captain Kathy of Family Fun Boat Tour Co. That was a lot of fun and well organized. Kayak right from Robbie's(they will deliver to the house, or just go from there.

Ocean Retreat a Real Treat
Beautiful property...had everything we could want including water toys and a basket full of indoor toys! The house is designed for togetherness but also for privacy! Hot tub was a special treat. Everything was clean and well maintained and close to other attractions! Boys enjoyed snorkeling, kayaking and boating! They even found a baby octopus, a sea star and a baby lobster and had a close up encounter with a small shark. Of course all specimens were released back to their rightful habitat. We had a fabulous time and look forward to returning in the near future!
